A Kickstarter Photo Book · Six Years in the Making
One photographer. 1,954 miles. From the Pacific surf at Tijuana to the Gulf at Brownsville. A photo project investigating cultural connections that transcend a border wall and divisive politics.
01 / The Project
Over six years, photographer Bob Rives made numerous trips along the U.S.-Mexico border to document the people and landscapes of urban and rural areas on the U.S. side.
La Frontera collects 70 photographs into a single hardcover edition, with an essay by reknown author Oscar Cásares. The book will be published and designed by Keher Verlag, one of the world's leading publishers of photo books based in Heidelberg, Germany.
